Object Name Jar
Description This case is a collection of fruit jars. No records found, but they could be some that were left by Mrs. Larry Krier from a collection she had in here in the early 1970's. She took most of them out in December of 1980, but left some and they became the property of the museum December 1, 1980.

On self (1) there are 15 pint jar and 3 half-pint jars.

On self (2) there are: 15 one-half gallon jars with lids
26 quart glass jars
1 pint jar with lid

Note: Jars were used for food processing back in the early days. Some of these jars were dated back in 1858 and later. Jars were of clear glass and some were blue.
